[BUSINESS CONTACT EMAIL — Michael will provide]

Local Home Help is a free referral service connecting homeowners with independent service providers. We do not perform services. Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

Phone calls

When you call a number on this site, your call is routed through our call tracking system and may be connected to an independent third-party service provider, or to a partner network that connects you with one.

We share your phone number, and the general location (such as ZIP code) and service type associated with the call, with those providers and partners so they can respond to your request.

Calls may be recorded and reviewed for quality, training, billing verification and dispute resolution.

Call data we keep

We keep the caller phone number, call time and duration, the number dialed, the service category, the routing outcome, and recordings.

Website data

A provider inquiry asks for your name, company, email, phone, service category, and the markets you want to cover. We use that information to contact you about receiving customer calls in those markets. A contact message asks for your name, email, an optional phone number, and a message. We store a reference number and the time the form was saved.

The server writes that information to an inquiry file and returns the reference number. The form does not send email by itself. The file lives on the server that hosts the site. If that host replaces the container without a persistent disk or database, the file can be lost. Do not treat the reference number as proof of a long-term archive until a database is attached.

The host may keep ordinary server logs. Those logs can include an IP address, the time, and the URL requested. We may use cookies and similar identifiers for the site to function and to understand how pages are used.

We may use advertising and analytics tags, such as Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure ad performance. Those tags can set a cookie or a similar identifier in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking a measurement tag does not stop a phone call from being connected.

Your choices

To opt out of future contact, or to request access to or deletion of information you submitted, use the contact form. Include the inquiry reference if you have one, and say what you want us to do. We will use the email or phone you provide only to answer that request.

State privacy rights

[CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL] California and other states give residents rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain uses of personal information, including a “sale” or “share” of personal information as those laws define those words.

We share call information with independent service providers and partner networks so they can respond to a request, as described above. [CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL] This page does not finally classify that sharing as a sale or a share under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the California Privacy Rights Act, or a similar state law. Until that classification is confirmed, send “Do not sell or share my personal information” through the contact form and we will treat it as an opt-out request. Residents of those states can use the same form to request access, deletion, or correction. We will not charge a different price or refuse a call connection because you made a privacy request.

What we do not collect on the forms

The forms do not ask for a Social Security number, a payment card, or an insurance application.

Children

The site is written for adults arranging home services. It is not directed at children.
